Camera-Ready Full Research Paper Submissions
Camera-ready full research paper submissions are due by 10 April 2026 via easychair.
Given page restrictions set by Springer, you need to limit the camera-ready version of your full research paper to 18 pages (including everything).
Please make sure your paper follows all the Springer guidelines https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines .
Please download the full research paper Licence to Publish form here. One corresponding author must sign and upload the form on behalf of all of the authors of the paper along with the final camera-ready manuscript on easychair.
We need:
- The final source file of your camera-ready version as Word (i.e., doc, dom, or docx) or all LaTeX files incl. bib/bbl files, images, etc. (no older source files) as one ZIP file (i.e., zip).
- The final PDF file of your camera-ready version corresponding exactly to the final source file.
The Licence to Publish agreement as PDF file signed by one corresponding author.
Note: Please upload your files to easychair on your personal DESRIST 2026 paper submission page –“Add or update files”
Detailed explanation for the Licence to Publish form:
- First page: Please fill in (1) proposed title of your contribution, (2) all authors full names, (3) corresponding author name.
- Last page: Please fill in (1) the signature, (2) signing corresponding author name, (3) date, (4) signing corresponding author address, (5) signing corresponding author email – it is sufficient if one of the corresponding authors signs and is listed here.
Camera-Ready Research-in-Progress (Short Research Paper) and Prototypes Submissions
- Camera-ready research-in-progress (short research paper) submissions are due by 10 April 2026 via easychair.
- Camera-ready prototypes submissions are due by 17 April 2026 via easychair.
Given page restrictions set by Springer, you need to limit the camera-ready version of a research-in-progress (short research paper) to 12 pages (including everything) and prototypes to at least 5 and no more than 6 pages (excluding first page, references, etc.).
Please make sure your paper follows all the Springer guidelines https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines .

Submission Categories & Page Limits
DESRIST 2026 welcomes submissions in the following tracks. Please note that page limits include all figures, tables, and references.
Full Research Papers
Full research papers describe scientifically validated results from the field of Design Science Research. These results should make a significant contribution to the current state of research.
Page Limit: Minimum of 13 pages and maximum 18 pages (formatted according to Springer LNCS).
Publication: Accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
Opt-out: Authors of accepted full papers can choose whether their manuscript should be included in the LNCS proceedings or not.
Research-in-Progress (RiP) Papers
RiP papers present innovative ideas, partial results, or ongoing work. Although not yet fully implemented or evaluated, they should contribute to the current state of research.
Page Limit: Maximum 12 pages (formatted according to Springer LNCS).
Publication: Accepted RiP papers will be published in the conference proceedings in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS).
- Opt-out: Authors of accepted short papers can choose whether their manuscript should be included in the LNCS proceedings or not.
